I was in Whitby yesterday and had to buy some of the local food. Just had two of these fellas with two mugs of piping hot strong tea for breakfast 

Good for you JOM. I like Whitby we keep meaning to go when there is a Goth weekend on to photograph the events. Are you going to do Scarborough on this trip?

I hadn't heard of the goth weekend until I was chatting to the barmaid (as you do like) on Wednesday evening. She was telling me of the costumes, characters etc, the whole thing sounds great fun, and full of many photo opportunities

The festival runs 31/10/12 to 05/11/12 according to this site

I stopped here , it's nothing fancy but well worth the £49 I paid, but I daresay it's fully booked for that period
