An extremeley reluctant one!
On the lead up to the previous incumbents retirement, on three of the last four monthly meetings the subject of his replacement was discussed and I refused their "kind" offer. I missed the last meeting prior to him going, and it was decided that I will replace him. I didn't find this out until the minutes were distributed two weeks later
I will carry out all the duties as required, and enjoy them, it's the annual awards thing that just doesn't sit well with me
