Synchronised wailing.
« on: August 26, 2013, 06:39:48 AM »
At about half past seven yesterday evening several females just along the corridor began wailing the tone went up and down but they stayed in unison, every so often it would stop for a minute or two then start all over again. A couple of hours after it started I asked a visiting nurse if a patient had died, "oh no she is still with us but very poorly" came the prompt reply.

About two hours later the wailing stepped up a notch ( or a crotchet) whilst in the corridor a couple of women could be heard jabbering into mobile phones. During the next half an hour to an hour more and more people both males, females, children and toddlers began to arrive. The wailing grew louder ,more intense and more varied as the males joined in.

By now it had gone 10 pm and the wailing continued unabated and I had ascertained that 'she' had died.

The wailing continued off and on for another couple of hours, the nurses were very apologetic. To be continued....................

I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.

It must be so so distressing for them all to lose a relative before she had time to give them the PIN numbers of her accounts
Well, whatever, nevermind

Ghastly....  noooo:

I'm sorry, as I mentioned in another thread this is not 'native' behaviour and should not be tolerated under any circumstances....  noooo:

There is more, Internet connection is very intermittent ,I didn't realise that I had posted any of that post.  redface:

                                                             PART TWO

.........and a little embarrassed. By one am most mourners had left and things had quietened down considerably. The unfortunate lady's body had been removed and there were just a couple of females remaining who seemed to be dealing with the formalities.

One of the huge ironies of the whole thing was that toddlers, who had no doubt been taken from their beds and were in a strange place, were immediately and vociferously hushed and shushed should they have the temerity to cry or grizzle.    noooo:

noooo:  That is typical they obviously had no respect or thought for any of the other patients... disgraceful cussing:

Oh believe you me Boogs there are plenty of English speakers in here who jabber, there were four of them outside my door this morning. It was the irony of them trying to keep the little ones quiet that really got to me. smile: razz:

Horrendous, sounds as though you would get more rest on Paddington Station. Have you got much longer before you are let out?
