Kids asking if their boyfriend / girlfriend can stop over
« on: March 28, 2016, 10:20:37 AM »
There has been a bit of an argument here this weekend with The Man's youngest son ( soon to be 19 )  who has asked if his girlfriend could stay over on Friday night.

Tis complicated by the fact that she is in foster care ( she is 17 )  and so we simply asked if she had permission to do so from from her foster parents / social worker.

Bring on the strops and the storming off and the lad saying they would instead stay over at his mum's ( the ex bitch from hell ) .  She of course will do anything to accommodate and undermine - even though the girl has stayed there the past 3 weekends and the police have been called as her foster parents were unhappy she was staying out.

It is obvious this girl is looking for a way out of her current situation and has already stated she will be getting her own place as soon as she is 18 and Social Services will have to pay for this and her living costs etc .

The man and I are adamant that in the meantime she will not be using our place as a stop gap. She is here most days as is and doesn't'  leave until almost 11 at night anyway !!!

She is not unpleasant but doesn't stop yapping, struts about the place as if it's her own and totally dominates The Man's son.

This is his 1st girlfriend.  scared2:

But how come kids these days think they have a right to have their girlfriend / boyfriend to stay ??

How times have changed  noooo:

My niece has just announced that she is 'coming off the pill' to make a babby...

She's only known the bloke five minutes, he has gambling debts and they have nowhere to live...  noooo:

The only light at the end of the tunnel is that the mad bitch from hell is having a loft conversion done on the bungalow she lives in. This will then make this an ideal almost self contained flat I would have thought - perfect for a young couple starting out  Sinister:

Indeed Steve - you are the sensible one  lol:

I yearn for the days when kids were out all the time ( not permantly hibernating in the house  !!!) and when you didn't have a clue what they were up to  lol:

Well even an idiot like me can be right occasionally

[serious]Some people are just right to have kids, I suspect you are one of those.  Mrs K and I reached our limit at cats.
Well, whatever, nevermind

Umm tricky one Miss D especially as the sebum soaked stomper isn't yours and the girl friend comes with her own set of problems which if not addressed properly will come back and bit someone in the arse. noooo:

My attitude was always 'my house my rules'.

Locking them in the MBFHs attic may seem a  tad Brontësque but a bit of a result.

Lastly my son in law is going to be digging up their back garden next week not only that but he will also be laying a patio.  For a small fee I would be willing to divulge their address.  Just a thought. eveilgrin:
