So some stupid bint joined my team from another team in June.
She made a request to move from the other team as it was on shift work on a shift pattern that covers 24/7 - 365 days a year.
She lives alone and has no children but felt that the shift patterns were having a detrimental effect etc.
She was in another team previous to this where she worked just days but chose the fully shifted team for financial reasons.
You know whats coming - she has made a request now to go back to the fully shifted team ( my team only does shifts at weekends) . Apparently she doesn't like travelling on the tube at rush hour ( who the feck does !!)
I have refused her request as we have vacancies and are short staffed.
So the inevitable has happened - I have today received her formal grievance supported by the Union stating I am not fully considering her work life balance needs
