That's the way to do it!

Two armed robbers have been shot dead as armed police foiled a raid on a security van outside a bank.

The IPOC are have launched a full investiagtion into this apparently.
Why?

One of the bastards was holding a gun to a security guards head.

Good bloody riddance I say. happy088
 Saved the taxpayer a bloody fortune!

Is this a new initiative by new shite Labour to make more space available in our overcrowded jails p'raps?  rubschin:

But why were the Met leading this operation in Hampshire? They were acting on "information" it is said. Clearly the Met, as usual, were keeping things tight to their chest and acting in a high handed manner, rather than give the info to the locals and leave them to it. Also if they knew about it (Armed officers of the Met do not just happen to be in Chandlers Ford) why did they let it go so far before taking action. They could have rounded up the criminals and charged them with conspiracy.
It all just shows, once again, why our police are not fit to be armed.

All that may be so Snoops. I didn't read/notice all that tbh. I'm a selective sentence reader.
My point is simply as I stated. Good riddance , and saving tax payers money.

Oh yes ~ I'm not disagreeing with you. Go armed with intent to steal and you can expect to end up dead seems a good deterrent but I was wondering just why it was allowed to reach the stage where a security guard ends up with a gun to his head if the police knew that an armed raid was being planned. Not only that is was going to happen but where and when.

Saved on a couple of prison places though!

Apparently the armed officers appeared from a public lav, perhaps they were off duty...  eyes:

saw a good clip on liveleak of a bloke getting the top of his head blown off while holding a knife to a womans throat ( in Brazil I believe ). Wonder if it was a similar shot yesterday.. whistle:

Oh and I see the mother of one of the dead robbers has said he did not deserve to die, he was a very nice lad.. arent they all ??? whistle:
