Scrapping the high school diploma requirement for students to prove proficiency in math, reading and writing because it will benefit 'Oregon’s black, Latino, Latina, Latinx, Indigenous, Asian, Pacific Islander, Tribal, and students of color' is just stupid. I've read this three or four times now and the only thing I can take from it is that Kate Brown has decided children from minority backgrounds are too stupid to pass without help.

All it means is that their diplomas are going to be worth less than a character reference from Andrew Cuomo.
