No doubt they had a little railway running around the shop too...? 
There was a cake shop down here that had a little train set in the window for a while. I asked why it was there and apparently the owner once had an encounter with some strange old guy who wouldn't stop talking about cakes and trains and it appealed to her sense of humour.
I'm sure it was just a coincidence...
