Oh come on, there was no crash, no injuries the plane made an emergency landing and the passengers quickly evacuated. Where's the bleedin trauma in that?

Quote
A passenger who was on board a plane that crash-landed at Heathrow last month is to sue British Airways (BA).
Paul Strafford, a university lecturer from London, said he was taking legal action over the trauma he suffered as a result of the emergency landing.

He said he has been highly anxious and unable to sleep since the accident in which all 152 passengers and crew were evacuated from the plane safely.

BA said it was talking to all customers who were on board flight 38.

Extensive damage

A BA spokesman said: "We are in touch with all the customers who were on BA 38 and are talking to them about them individually about their specific needs and requirements."

Meanwhile, investigations are continuing into why the Boeing 777 lost power on approach to the west London airport on 17 January.

The flight from Beijing was extensively damaged when it touched down.

The Air Accident Investigation Branch (AAIB) has indicated its inquiry into the incident may focus on the aircraft's fuel supply system.

Personal injury lawyers have said passengers who had been traumatised by their experience could claim up to £85,000 on a "no-fault basis".
