A stupid question I know...
« on: March 13, 2008, 04:07:24 PM »
but just what the hell was an 8 year old boy doing with these tools in the first place?  Banghead

Quote
Asbo bans boy from having tools
An eight-year-old boy has been banned from possessing a hammer, saw, chisel, knife and secateurs under an anti-social behaviour order (Asbo).
The order was made against his mother in Torquay, Devon, after her landlord Riviera Housing claimed she made her neighbours' lives a misery.

The Asbo prevents the woman from using threatening behaviour, making excessive noise and from using cannabis.

It also prohibits the boy from going out on his own between 1900 and 0700.

The Asbo, issued by Torbay Magistrates' Court, will remain in place for two years.

Quality of life

Elizabeth Heatley, a spokeswoman for Riviera Housing, said it was the first order it had applied for.

"We don't go down the route unless we have tried all other avenues," she said.

"We will take whatever action is necessary to give tenants and other residents the quality of life that we all expect."

Another son, aged 22, has been barred from the area, under a separate order.

People have different standards.  What to you and I is a case of "What the F*** ... Put that down!" is another person's "Ah look he's just like 'is dad!" shrugs:
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

I think we can make some fairly accurate assumptions about the family…  ::)
