Cheap at twice the price
« on: May 12, 2008, 03:06:46 PM »
Esther Ranzen (AKA A Raddled Old Baggage) one time "star" of TV and errrrrTV was at the Polo Masters Tournament in Hurtwood Park yesterday ..... Posing as ever and enjoying the reflected glory of some minor royals etc.

She had forgotten to take the price tag off her frock  point:

I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

I think you will find it's her price tag. £4.99.

In my RAF days, when the annual sports day came round and for any other events marguees would be erected, white posts inserted in little stands and whitened ropes strung. Signs would then be placed at the entrance to each of the three identical enclosures. "OFFICERS AND LADIES" "NCOs AND FAMILIES" "OTHER RANKS" ..... and never let them forget their betters my boy!
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

And this week on Animal Hospital, an old nag will be put out to pasture  whistle:
The universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements. Energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest.

Was seen at the polo, prancin'
Around in the paddock
The silly old haddock
Is still looking for a little romancin'
