But, But, But ......... Gordon Brown says we have to pay these deadbeats executives top dollar or they will go and work somewhere else and we'll be left with only the also-rans to run our infrastructure.
I wonder if he has considered that maybe the also-rans could do a better job, or at least as good a job, for a lot less money.
Come to think of it who, in industry, would dream of employing them anyway?
