Sky are showing it at the moment, so I thought i'd give it a go even though I hate remakes. It was pretty good, but his suffering at the end was'nt as intense as old Woodies in the original

The majority of Hollywood remakes of classic British films are dire though. Just look at Get Carter  Banghead
