I had a couple of ripe figs off the tree over the road in the park this morning, for breakfast like  eeek:

It's that sort of a year I think. We have 12 kilos of assorted jams made and in the larder already.

You could well be right. B-in-law tells me all the wheat is in and he's now crackin' on with the rapeseed ~ and not yet August. At this rate they'll be taking their winter break in September  confused:

Getting back to crepes. My favorite savoury is spinach and ricotta cooked in the oven with white sauce. Best sweet flavour is nutella and amaretto flambe.  cloud9:
