It's not all bad news then
« on: October 15, 2008, 03:25:06 PM »
Petrol prices on the forecourts of Morrisons and Asda have dropped below £1 a litre today. At last I can fill up with the Ltrs window showing more than the £s window again.

I've noticed prices of some products in the local shops are dropping back too. Is this the correction we need or just a temporary dip before inflation soars again?

Someone on the wireless this morning was warning of the dangers of minus inflation which he reckoned was a real possibility. ie that inflation is needed and that should it go into reverse we would indeed be in deep dodo.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Does minus inflation make a sort of sucking sound?

Apparently if it happens we will be worth less than worthless.
