Bloody WOW Hamilton
« on: November 02, 2008, 09:34:15 PM »
Just had to start a new thread on young Lewis Hamiltons unbelievable World Champion crowning today. eeek:

Have you ever witnessed such a finale in sport?  noooo:

The only one that comes close...IMO...was the Champions Leauge final in 2006.

Even if you don't like motor sport, THAT has to be one of the all time greats for sheer tension. Pure magic, and I'm really well chuffed for the lad. Richly deserved. cloud9:

It will go down in my mind as one of those all-time great sporting memories along with the England vs Australia Botham test match and the Man Utd champions league final win in 1999

Here's the moment when celebration turned into bitter dissapointment for the Ferrari team, the bloke in pink looks like the world has just ended

It virtually had. It was Massa's dad.

Of course, the anti Hamilto brigade are now out, knives sharpened shouting 'FOUL' ! Ferrari fans in the main I note. ::)

Glock, the lad that Hamilton overtook within sight of the finishing line deliberately moved over to let him past .............so THEY say, and  ::) are wondering just how much McClaren paid Toyota for him to do that.

Of course, they must have known exactly how this was all going to pan out in the final 5 minutes, as they saw Ron Dennis on the blower to God discussing the iminent rain forecast.

Those grapes must taste so so bitter at this time of the year. lol:

No doubt the young lad will be returning to the UK for a 'victory tour  and then a quick trip down the tax office to register as a UK citizen for tax purposes again...?  whistle:
