Mrs Nick rinses our plastic bottles (milk and suchlike) before I take them to the dump. Why?

So they don't befoul GOS' gleaming Y-fronts in the landfill of course.

On this occassion Nicholas, my dear chap, she is actually correct. I know, I know, I'm normally the FULL male chauvenistic pig, but I'm sorry. Fair is fair, and credit has to be given when due sadly.
All re-cycleable waste such as plastic, tins and glass should be rinsed out first, otherwise they cannot be used for the re-cycling process apparently, so they say.

Sorry matey. Shrugs:
