No ~ he's a titch and only eight ~ it's just that he is so pleased at being "older" I don't want to ruin it for him. Bit like the Tooth Fairy and Santa ~ let them believe as long as possible I feel.

Exactly. Keep it up until he asks in a way that you have to tell him the truth or a downright lie. The latter is unacceptable IMO.

Indeed ~ I suspect that was his desire. Being eight isn't easy with all the things you most want to do being barred 'cos you are too young ~ but you would no doubt remember that ~ it being but a short while ago  eveilgrin:
