According to the BBC someone has "hacked" into Jack Straw's personal email and sent to everyone in his address book (said to number thousands) an email claiming that he (Straw) is stranded in Nigeria, having had his wallet stolen, and asking the recipient to send $3000 for his fare home.
Mr Straw says that the scam is so ludicrous that no-one would be taken in and indeed he adds that no-one has sent any money.
I wonder if anyone has told him that even if the emaill was believed no-one would send any money.
