Just follow my simple instructions and you too can have a cake of the solid sort 

I followed the destructions on the pack of cake mix I bought. Total disaster. Everyone laughed at me.  
How can you get a packet of cake mix wrong?

I would be very impressed if you did actually read the instructions - not trying to stereotype here or anything

How can you get a packet of cake mix wrong

 

OK

Get some eggs and smash them
Bash in some almonds, sugar and cocoa (make up the quantities if you can't read scales)
SLap in some Baking Powder and Bicarb of Soda

Mix it up with yer paws like

Bash an orange to bits and mix that in (jump on it if necessary)

Bung it in a hot oven till it looks like a cow pat (Hint: you need to put it in a cake tin)

Eat it (let it cool down a bit first, like)

It can't be easy.

Oh it was.  
I was gobsmacked when I dragged it out of the oven.  
Tried sticking it all back together with cream. That made it werser though. Ended up as a mush.
Tasty though.

I make this a lot. I made our Lodger make one on Saturday. It goes like lightning. Highly recommended and dead easy to make. Even Grolwer could make it without setting fire to his cave
