Where are the weeds? We have stuff coming out of the paving and the only thing that seems to work is spraying them and then taping bin bags over them to cut the light out. In the lawn, weed and feed regularally. In the flower beds, a hoe. Fortunately Mr Wench is now interested in the garden and I have very little to do with this side of things now.

Works everytime, can also be used to eradicate moles, cats shitting in the herbaceous border and meter readers with stupid badly fitting berets
