Wonderful remembered conversation with Mrs DS#2 and the late MIL#2.

MIL: "Do you think I am turning into a stupid old woman like Grandma?"
Mrs DS: "Yes"
MIL: "But do you think I am turning into a stupid old woman like Grandma?"
Mrs DS: "Yes"
MIL: "Darwin, do you think I am turning into a stupid old woman like Grandma?"
DS: "It is statistically likely"
MIL: "Well I am glad I am not turning into a silly old woman"

 Shrugs:

My sister once instructed me to tell her if I ever thought she was getting like our mother.

Came the day, I told her. angel1

Oh no I am quite sure that they don't. angel1

Mine convinced me this morning that beetroot chopped up in blackcurrant jelly was delicious.  I dutifully made the jelly and chopped the beetroots.  I have just had the misfortune to taste this disgusting concoction it's ghastly. sick2:

Same as fish?

Must say I have no time for it as a pickle or an ingredient either.

I do like fish though.

We are doomed to incompatibility.  sad24:

No, no I didn't I have just been sitting here watching her eat a portion with relish, not relish as in Gentlemens Relish that would just badderer and wronger, but with gusto. sick2:

Indeed I do know how you feel about beetroot Miss D but have you tried it with blackcurrant jelly, you might like it. whistle:

I have now got to go and make the 'old baggage' a cup of tea.  I think I need to start secreting bottles of Pinot Grigio around the house just to keep me sane like.

Have I missed something and you are chez maman today?

I assume if you are at home, every drawer, cupboard, shelf, nook and cranny forever clanks with PG bottles?
