Over reactions
« on: August 14, 2009, 07:40:30 AM »
Ok so the Brat stayed over at her friends the other night and last night it was the return favour  cry:

I had gone out with a friend for a little bit in the evening but had cooked them their dinner and they were happily chatting crap to strangers and paedophiles on MSN when I left.

I returned a couple of hours later to the upstairs full of steam and an aroma's of a Tony and Guy hair Salon on a Saturday afternoon. They had been doing hair straightening and the like  noooo:

Anyway they had the bedroom window open for ages...

About 11  oc clock I went to bed only to hear the most ear piercing, blood curdling screams. Apparently there was a mahoosive moth in their bedroom that was dive bombing them  eveilgrin:

I resentfully got up ...went into The Brat's bedroom and looked at the bat moth  . Gently tried to shooo it out of the window but it had other ideas and hid behind a wardrobe.

Oh well I said , I'm going back to bed. This was greeted with yet more shrieks and screams about leaving them in the room with the monster  noooo: noooo: noooo:

"sort it out yourself then " I reasonably offered.

The next thing I know they were packing duvets, pillowcases and the like and they had decamped to the living room downstairs.

I went down and they were lying on the floor saying they couldn't possibly stay in that room.

My patience by this time had completely deserted me and I just said fair nuff and went back to bed.

FFS - it was ONLY A MOTH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know we all have things we don't like and are scared of ( mine is the scales  lol: ) but keep it in proportion  noooo:

I shall tell her today that I have killed it (  Shrugs: ) and that she no longer has to be a nomadic warrior of The Brat tribe and can return to the waste tip that she calls her bedroom  evil:
