Effective advertising.

There is an advert running on one of the channels possibly even several, which makes me giggle, it's about birds not using their wings and at the end of the ad a bird drops on it's perch.  At first I didn't have a clue what it was about but it is about Ford cars. Whilst looking for the ad on 'youtube' I came across this which I think is just brilliant.

I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

Mrs Nick informed me that we have two woodpeckers in our garden. Misinterpreting her (deliberately) I said. 'They will kill the tree. I shall keeeeell them.'

This was wrong, it seems.  noooo:

You need to find that harmonious balance between your sense of humour and Mrs Nick's sense of fury
