I feel so left out Pastis...  noooo:

Actually, I felt a bit off-field this arvo when I took a shopping trolley full of books up to the charity shop....  redface:

TBH, when I first encountered the part of town where I now live, over thirty years ago, it was a vibrant and somewhat eccentric place (in fact it has been like that for 100+ years) and I felt quite out of place.
As I went out this afternoon to do a few chores I had perhaps about ten conversations; only two from memory were with folk whose first language was English. The rest were a mix of Greek, Turkish, Chinese, Albanian, Yoruba (Nigeria), Caribbean dialect and Polish. I felt quite out of place again, somewhat eccentric... figure that one out  confused:
Like the Buddhist said to the hot dog vendor...
"Make me one with everything"

We don't have vacancies for stale food vendors in the UK ~ that place has long been filled by Sainsbury
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.
