Was Beadle about?
« on: December 31, 2009, 08:48:56 AM »
Just been down to Tescos. I only had a few items so went through the self service checkouts. Three times I got, "unexpected item in the bagging area, please wait for an assistant"  cussing:. Now, this store has 31 checkouts, two of which were manned, then there were the six self-serve ones, manned by one poor love who was struggling around on bloody crutches!. Three times to me, one visit to somebody else, all in two mnutes, she'll have earned her crust today

Well the computer was definitely saying no to whatever purchases you were trying to buy  rubschin:

But surely it doesn't take a lot of common sense to get her sitting on the tills ( if that was possible) - it might have meant something drastic like rearranging a seat or something  ::) rather than hobbling around  - poor girl  noooo:

Did she keep saying "God bless us every one"?

She was waiting for you to give her a goose.
