The interactive ones are good to use for teaching, lecturing, showing Power-Point presentations etc. Ordinary white boards are a bit old hat now but even with them having replaced blackboards and chalk why do schools still small of chalk dust and cabbage?

The worst thing about whiteboards was (and where they are still in use) still is that people will/would insist on using marker pens instead of the wipeable variety thus buggering the board for all time.
