I see that in order to get
some of its legislation through in this last week of Parliament the Government have withdrawn just about all the nasties they had in the budget.
Extra Increase in tax on Cider OUT
Telephone line tax of 50p to pay for broadband for all OUT
Legislation to force lawyers to reduce fees OUT
Taxes on Holiday Lets OUT
Dunno why they bothered since they knew it would all have to be scraped anyway.
