Invited to a party!
« on: May 25, 2010, 05:18:51 PM »
Hey ho! I've been invited to a party  angel1

The invite came via email and yes, my email address sits there clearly along with the other 50 or so recipients that it's been cc'd to. A charming couple according to the wording of the invite; I know of the venue and it's not that far away; the date is in early July and would be feasible and if the weather holds it should be loads of fun.
The only problem is ...

I have never heard of these people before!  eeek:  eeek:  I don't recognise the sender or any single one of the recipients  eeek: eeek:
They all appear to be bona fide UK email addresses, some company addresses, others various...  ;)

HTF can that happen?  noooo:

Should I go along? On a wing and a prayer ...  eyes: ...
Like the Buddhist said to the hot dog vendor...

They are selling something.

Brush yourself up and go along but leave all credit, debit & charge cards in your desk and make sure you carry only enough cash for a taxi home. Do not take a cheque book.

Have a good time
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.
