Is it a cold fill machine or one that fills hot and cold?

If cold fill change the programme ~ if hot and cold fill turn off the hot supply.

PS If neither of the above works then either get a man to fit a new thermostat or buy a new machine.
Currys are about the cheapest and they deliver within two days, will connect the new machine and take away the old one.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

I recall my old man doing something similar when told to take care of his own washing. He withdrew a jumper from the dryer which had shrunk so small so as not to fit even me aged 10.  I thought it was a cunning plan to get him off laundry duties  whistle:
