More Joke Sentencing

From local news

Quote
a "mindless and chillingly casual" act of violence....he added it was an utterly merciless killing and a wicked act.

Quote
He had died from multiple blunt force injuries and was found with a supermarket trolley on top of him.

Quote
Ayres was detained for 90 weeks, Real for four years nine months and Crago must serve four years..... This conviction and sentence should serve as a warning to those who feel they can go through life abdicating responsibility for their actions and not then face the consequences."

I daresay these pieces of filth have had it relatively cosy in a young offenders institution for the past few months already, so that time will come off their sentence. Hardly a warning to others

Wrong charge ~ should never have been "manslaughter" but "Murder" then the judge could have given longer sentences ~ mind you I should have thought that he has given them as little as he could. Sends quite the wrong message. 4 years less time off for good behaviour and they will be wearing this as a badge for the rest of their days. Real "Hardmen" in their neighbourhood. Makes me sick.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.
