Thanks Snoopy, that beats most of the ones I looked at last night who were only offering "reglazing". With that site I get new frames, an extra pair of glasses, and don't have to leave my glasses with them for 4 - 10 days for the new lenses to be added to the somewhat old frames. My prescription isn't cheap but it's still an initial saving of £20, but I found a code on http://www.myvouchercodes.co.uk/discounts/glassesdirect.co.uk that gives me a further saving of £21.00  happy088

They have some sort of office/workshop in Basingstoke centre so I'll hopefully be able to view some of their selection of frames in-house rather than on my screen, failing that they'll send me four frames to try before buying
