I did ask if they are being realistic as expecting anyone to still have a job in any local authority in the next 12 months might be pushing your luck a bit  noooo:

Homewerk, project, whatever.
Beggars bloody belief. eeek:

Wouldn't your gaffers actually be better employed finding ways and means of offering their customers a better value for money service, and encouraging you's lot to get on with your damned jobs, rather than all this tooling and poncing around like a bunch of rancid wanabe scoohell teachers, bloody tossers.

It depends Growler, when Toyota first developed and implemented Kaizen theory they improved efficiency and saved a small fortune by streamlining and optimising their processes. I've seen GE use Six Sigma to mich the same effect. Given the amount of waste and incompetence in local government (no I'm noy including Miss D in that) as long as there is proper support for these projects and they are carried out properly then the benefits far outweigh the costs.

Toyota?...how many recalls?

Apparently that was because the Toyota franchises in North America were not allowed to follow the same principles of production as they do in Japan and so it all went Pete Tong ...apparently like
