I think he just bunged it in the DVD player when he saw it was a DVD; he's going to try playing it on his PC which may work ...  rubschin:

That could well be the problem.

Let's hope so. I've also just tried uploading it to YouTube and that works (private settings)  ;D

On a slightly similar note, I hada call yesterday from Mad Mandy (TMR knows of who I speak).

She was trying to run some language learning software (Croation) but she complained that there was no video only audio - she had paid for some plug-ing for Windows media Player but it made no difference. She could hear the words but there was no text on the screen.
I suggested she tried VLC.
Shortly afterwards, another call.
Still no pictures. Asked a few questions and found that she had got the software from the library and was not the usual Linguaphone/Rosetta Stone software.
Much mumbling as mandy conversed with Yasmine (TMR knows again).

After a long pause it transpired that there are no visual bits to see - the words are written in the book!

Now that reminds of a guy in a place I used to work. He complained he couldn't send a fax because the machine had run out of paper ...  ;)

My bank once, politely, refused an instruction I gave them by telephone (with all the necessary security codes) and confirmed by email but were happy with a fax as it "had a signature".  whacky115
