Having finished my werk for the day, cooked, cleaned my windows and hoovered and with the washer on I decided to watch afternoon Star Trek  cloud9:

It's a documentary, so I like to see how they are getting on.

The ads are amazing. Wonga.com offers loans AT 2789% APR  eeek:

Those so desperate they will pay anything to feed their kids/ buy a fix or keep the bailiffs out and hope to be able to repay come pay day. Such unfortunates do not look at the long term. Wonga.com and the like expect to be repaid at the end of the month.
That is why such cash advances are known as "Pay Day Loans".

You are an innocent abroad mate. Such companies do attract customers with astonshing ease!

Don't I recall some much trumpeted and doomed gummint "initiative" to stop this nonsense. Oh well, another one down the tubes  noooo:
