Ocado vans
« on: June 14, 2011, 11:22:25 AM »
I have dabbled with Tesco Online  redface:  and, when out and about, I often see Tesco and Iceland vans parked for deliveries. But Ocado vans just seem to drive about all the time. I have never witnessed one actually delivering anything  rubschin:

Pastis is yer man .... he's the only one of us posh enough to use Ocado and he lives in one of their delivery areas. I am neither posh, nor do they operate in North Wales at all!

Mind you it's only bloody Waitrose!

BUT we don't got one of those oop here.

Just a secondary thought but perhaps you only drive through places where the inhabitants don't shop at Waitrose.

DS grows his own but I grant he is posh.

Miss D might shop at Waitrose ........... but is she posh enough to flaunt it?

I don't shop at Waitrose actually or online ... that link to the wineboxes (overpriced) was to indicate the available sizes  angel1

But, you're quite right we're on the Ocado map here. In fact one parked outside last week blocking the gate and entrance  ::) . I had to ask him politely what it was about that SOLID WHITE LINE marking the entrance that he didn't understand  evil:

Have you noticed how the Ocado vans all look old and rusty? It must be some stupid marketing thing.

Probably the 'Image Consultant' said the vans should all appear to be rustic::)

Thanks Nick. I never looked at it that way. As yet, they've not made a move on me though  whistle:

Ackchooly Ocada don't deliver for Waitrose ~ they accept your orders in their own right, set their own prices and have contracted to source the products from Waitrose  whistle:

They still do not deliver in North Wales  evil:
