Spooky coincidences
« on: August 31, 2011, 08:49:12 PM »
I had lunch with (now divorced)ex nun. Nice to see her. SHe was my tutor at university so many years go.

We chatted. We talked about books. And life, We roamed into continuities. Genetics.

We talked about spooky coincidneces.

We went inside for a cup of tea.

A voice cried out, "Mary?"

Another vouce cried out, "Nick?".
 eeek:

Inside the same caff were two folk from my year (class of 77)  scared2:

We had not met  for 34 years, yet we end up in the same caff at the same time on the same day. How the fuck does that werk, like?

Around 1980, I was in Singapore and one day while I was browsing idly in a street market, the only Westerner I had seen for hours, when a voice said "Morning Darwin". I looked up to see my first housemaster walking towards me, it must have been decades since I had seen him. "Morning sir" I said as he carried on walking and disappeared into the throng. . .
I never saw him again.
