Stupidest Question on BBC Radio Four 5 O'Clock News
« on: August 02, 2007, 04:47:57 PM »
Newscaster is speaking "live" to reporterette in USA. She has described the "Recovery operation" now underway at the collapsed bridge. She tells of crushed vehicles, fallen masonry and goes onto to say that the investigation teams are starting their task, hampered by conditions etc then the Newscaster, showing great interviewing skills and demonstrating that he has not listened to a word she has said asks her "So what caused the bridge to fall down then?"
Girly showing commendable restraint did not call him an arse but clearly her voice conveyed her opinion of the question in her reply which was "I can only repeat what I have just said".
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.
