Oooooooo! An interesting thing is happening, I'll just dig around in me 'andbag, get out me camera, take it out of its case, find somewhere to put the case, take the picture I want .... Oh Fvck! the event is over..... never mind, now where did I put the camera case? 

A pocket camera should go in yer pocket! 

Correct, only when it's not going to be used,it can get all scratched like can't it.

I've never personally had a problem storing me other owld camera in a case tbh.

If you don't want one so chunky then I've also found that putting your camera in a drawstring cloth sunglasses case  protects the screen and allows you to put it in yer pocket

Woodstock keeps her ipod in a knitted pouch, which then goes in her handbag 

Similar arrangements apply to her mobile phone which probably explains why she never answers the bloody thing before it diverts to voicemail

Phones are different, and SHOULD be kept in an easily retrieved place at all times, no fuss, no problem, no faffin'.
Wimmin do seem to have a problem with this, that's IF they actually remember to take the piggin' thing with them in the first place of course.
