So Foxy Knoxy has been acquitted of the murder of Meredith Kercher....along with her BF of the time. Quite frankly I am not surprised she was released as the element of doubt raised over the integrity of the evidence would probably lodge doubt in anyone's mind.

But the whole thing stinks to my mind. She should also have been prosecuted for perverting the course of justice ( or whatever the Italian equivalent is ) for changing her story and statements so many times. My gut instinct towards her is not good .

Also distasteful is the way this seems to have turned into some American fight for justice  . Note that two people were acquitted but hardly any mention of the bloke . 

The film will no doubt be out next week with a follow up spoof of CSi Perugia

The whole thing is a farce. However, it was not a safe conviction by any standards, so releasing the daft tart from chokey was the only option.

I didn't realise she'd been freed, but earlier on today on the news they were saying that Hollywood execs were actually waiting with a plane to whisk her away. Kerching, as they say

I hope she and her family exhibit some signs of sensitivity and credibility and retreat out of the limelight to enjoy the fact that they are reunited again and they have got what it is they say they have always wanted .

Even though it was a small war (Yanks vs. the Italian judiciary) the truth was nonetheless the first casualty. With the help of a $1,000,000 PR campaign behind her, her team managed to muddy the waters enough to ensure enough doubt.
She may or may not have had her hand on the knife but she sure knows more than's come out.

Yes, rebuilding her life will involve huge TV / Film / book deals ....
