If you go by ferry then children running around and shite toilets are inevitable. Should have gone Eurotunnel.

Most petrol pumps on the continent are prepaid, certainly all those on motorways are ~ I foresee trouble ahead.

Eindhoven has a mahoosive ring road but the motorway to Germany doesn't go anywhere near it. Eindhoven is just a bunch of factories (mostly owned by Phillips) on the horizon .... If you follow the right route that is. But there is no need to go through Belgium, Holland or Germany to get to Switzerland from Calais. Not even by the scenic route.  Banghead

Growler texts from Interlaken hospital!! His friend is being checked for suspicious arm and chest pains. He also reports extensive flooding and road closures. ::)
