Music machine thing
« on: October 05, 2011, 09:49:08 PM »
Peapods or summat.  confused:
Those small flat things that nearly everyone seems to 'ave 'anging 'round their necks like, playing loads of toons apparently.

I've got a old version of one, but it's a bit fiddly and if I switch it off after i've used it, when I switch it back on, I have to listen to all the same stuff again. confused:
Don't think I've ever managed to listen to me last hour of fave stuff tbh. cry:
It was only about a  tenner 7 years ago though, so musn't grumble.

So, what's a good thingy to buy then ey? Must be simple to use and cheap, and have the ability to put all me favourite music on it.
Don't want one with those nasty little ear phone things either. Want some PROPER whoppers to hear the bass proper well good on 'Stairway To Heaven' and stuff. cloud9:

I've got one of these.

For headphones, I use the in-ear things for around the house but on the hairyplane or jellycopter I use these.

Still, I expect you'll buy whichever one Miss D recommends anyway...  ::)

 lol:

Mine's bigger than Barman's    ;)

I have 500+ CD's on it and a few thousand free downloads  whistle:  , and it's only 1/3 full. I can't get a decent radio signal in my main office so I have the ipod on shuffle all the time I'm in the office. If you want to have a few albums to choose from each time you go out, go for a smaller one like Barman, but I prefer the full selection. Down to personal preference

Earplugs/earphones, you get what you pay for, mine are B & O earplugs  cloud9:

Whatever headphones are supplied with these mp3 players you generally have to go out and buy a decent pair anyway  noooo:

Personally I can't stand iTunes . I find it too invasive,  always updating this and Quick Time that  and doesn't allow simple 'drag and drop' into the folders which I like . I know many rave about it but I seem to have made up my mind  lol:. Therefore I don't have an ipod anymore  noooo:

I have a crappy little Creative one for the gym which gets bashed around and I will getting a decent one for myself for Christmas. I like the look of the Microsoft Zune but as yet undecided  rubschin:
