Whatever headphones are supplied with these mp3 players you generally have to go out and buy a decent pair anyway  noooo:

Personally I can't stand iTunes . I find it too invasive,  always updating this and Quick Time that  and doesn't allow simple 'drag and drop' into the folders which I like . I know many rave about it but I seem to have made up my mind  lol:. Therefore I don't have an ipod anymore  noooo:

I have a crappy little Creative one for the gym which gets bashed around and I will getting a decent one for myself for Christmas. I like the look of the Microsoft Zune but as yet undecided  rubschin:

For obvious reasons I found ITunes too invasive, I use Windows Media player and Dopisp . Never had any problems with it, and I use MediaMonkey (shut up Nick) for backing up, managing playlists etc

Whatever happened to the art of whistling whatever tune you fancied?

Still, I expect you'll buy whichever one Miss D recommends anyway...  ::)

 lol:

Mine's bigger than Barman's    ;)

I have 500+ CD's on it and a few thousand free downloads  whistle:  , and it's only 1/3 full. I can't get a decent radio signal in my main office so I have the ipod on shuffle all the time I'm in the office. If you want to have a few albums to choose from each time you go out, go for a smaller one like Barman, but I prefer the full selection. Down to personal preference

Earplugs/earphones, you get what you pay for, mine are B & O earplugs  cloud9:

More your style, surely.  ;)

I have one of those.  If I were you I'd avoid it unless you're content to load it via iTunes (which is the way it works). In terms of toons ... Say 3 to 4 hours worth? There's no screen to identify what's playing; it just rolls through them in the order that you loaded them or shuffles them about.
I find it ok 'cos I can load what I want, when I want to whether it's tunes, spoken word, or whatever.
