Use this website

http://2conv.com/

It asks if you want it to be in your You Tube account.

Then when you are watching listening to anything you like press the little button that says convert to MP3 and bingo bango - you have the toone all saved in your downloads file like

So you've gorra MP3 player too then MD? rubschin:
You and BM seem to recommend them, and you two seem to know about these things, so I'm currently wavering in that direction.

I'm just not too sure about these dodgydigi things though. They get me on edge like. scared2:

I still luv me personal cassette player tbh. Ded simples, and absolutely sweet as a nut. cloud9:

But you'd have to have a rucksack to carry all the tunes you can fit in an MP3 player - better quality too... and the 'tapes' don't get all mangled up like...

Anything with an 'i' in front of the name forces you to use iPlayer and buy your music from them...

Ackchewly, that's not strictly true.  I rip any of my own CDs, those from the local library and any P2P stuff and import it into iTunes with no problem  8).  Thence onto to the Shuffle or the iPhone  ;)

I'm no expert by any means Growler ...I am not technically minded at all  redface:

However I am a gerl - which means I am capable of reading the instructions  ;)

I have only got a little square one at the moment and I want to treat myself to a decent one for Crimbo , where I can have different playlists for different things . For example the music I would listen to at the gym would be very different from what I would choose to listen to when travelling etc.

But I deffo don't want an ipod  noooo: . Had one before and absolutely detest itunes  evil:

I use one of these (1Gb version)

http://www.dabs.com/products/best-value-sweex-2gb-clipz-mp3-player--silver--6JTJ.html

Cheap and cheerful, been thru the washing once and survived, does the job - for me it's only at the gym.

hate itunes stuff, you never know what Apple have hidden in there, potential for some nasties deffo.
