I think I've managed to goose me knees well and proper. They are piggin' killin' me when I go out walkin' now, and they aren't getting any less painful as the weeks go by.
Walking like e bloody crip' now I am 'cus of the seering pain in them. sad32:

Reason...I suspect?
Thought I'd give meself a bit of extra totrture to me legs in the gym in readiness for me Swiss expedition 3 weeks ago, so whacked the weight up on the lifty up bar across your shins machine from me usual 40k's up to 90 kilo's.
BLOODY difficult, but managed to do five and hold for 6 seconds each time over a five minute period.
I really believed I'd be ok, what with all the walking i do.

Never been the same since that stupid stupid night tbh.

WHY did I do it, and am I ever going to walk proper again? Banghead  sad32:
[serious] Cod Liver Oil has kept my sore and creaky joints going for 20 odd years. 1000mg per day I recommend.[/serious]

Well, you said it chum.  5 reps of 90Kgs is madness  noooo:

Much better to think small and often

Do you think they'll get better again in time?

Went back to the gym on Thursday night and kept WELL away from that machine.

If you'd done some serious damage you wouldn't be able to walk!  They should repair in a week or two but FFS don't go for  big weights .... 40 reps of 20Kg would be much better

Indeed. I needed a bollockin tbh. I'm just sssso frustrated with meself, you know, thinking I was doing meself some good but in fact seemingly doing the reverse.
I need good knees and strong legs though or I'm virtually 'obbyless. sad32:
