Design flaws

Deodorant ....something we use daily , well most of us,  but still the choices are a bit problematic.

The 3 main choices are the spray type, the roller ball type and the solid stick.

The spray type promises not to like white marks or powdery residue but inevitably it does and you end up washing it off your clothes  evil: Think this is worse for wimmin as we generally try and remove underarm hair and therefore the spray has not as much to attach itself too !

The roller ball is sticky icky and you have to let it dry in yer pits for a little while before getting dressed.

But the solid stick type is the worst offender, promises to be easy to use etc but you can guarantee that every time the block will break as you are applying to your pits  evil:

I use ball, as one would.  Don't use the other two for the reasons Miss D stated. I  also wash daily.

I also happen to have many and varied design flaws. redface:

Miss D ~ The push up variety will not break if you ignore the instructions on the side "Remove top and push up bottom"  whistle:

People of a certain age may recall a time when there were not many clothes around.  Sunday best and work wear was about all there was. My mother had cotton circles of white fabric which were attached to the armpit area of her clothes and it was these that were washed rather than the clothes. I remember having to scrub my fathers collars and cuffs with hard soap and a brush prior to them being washed (shirts before you snigger, you boys at the back there). She would also turn the collars and cuffs (because of all my scrubbing no doubt) I also remember both her and her mother both darning socks.
