So while the rest of government is being forced to make cutbacks you wasted £37000 of our hard earned taxes on this frivolous shite for your own vanity? You shameless censored: puffed up popinjay.

So that's £15000 for your coat of arms, something you've managed to make look so tacky it could have come out of the Lizzie Duke bargain bin.



And a further £22000 for this portrait,



£37k, let's put that into context for a moment. Am RGN will have a salary of between £25k and £30k a year so that is one less nurse for the NHS with money to spare.

I'd say you should be ashamed of yourself but that is a word politicians seem to forget the meaning of very easily.

It turns out that the portrait is just a drop in the ocean compared to how much this shameless troughing cockwomble has been running up in expenses over the last few years.

I have to ask, given that the speaker is simply a referee for the house why the hell does he need to spend over £100,000 in overseas travel?
