The chippy across the road and two doors down from us is on fire!  eeek:

4 x Police cars, 1 x Ambulance, 2 x Fire appliances

The Boys are in a high state of excitement.

Old English Saying:  Come home to a real fire, buy a house in Wales.   lol:
It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.

The Fire Appliances here have Scuse Me! Scuse Me! Scuse Me!
Ambulances have Woo-Woo-Woo-Woo
The Heddlu have a wide range depending on speed and traffic conditions but they do seem to favour the sort of noise used by Maigret

As for the WPC's ~ there are two of them + half a dozen males. None are in High-Vis and looking at their faces I am NOT going to go out and tell them.

I was always given to understand that you should never use water on a chip pan fire! And, at the end of the day, this is just a giant chip pan fire!    noooo:

It is also an old building (used to be the Undertakers and how's that for a "change of use" application) which has a lot of wood and that was what was blazing.
