Unlikely seeing the quantity of water they are pumping in.  ;D

Fire Officers with breathing apparatus are now entering the building  eeek:

I was always given to understand that you should never use water on a chip pan fire! And, at the end of the day, this is just a giant chip pan fire!    noooo:

It is also an old building (used to be the Undertakers and how's that for a "change of use" application) which has a lot of wood and that was what was blazing.

I'd have been right at home the! Sort of delayed cremation kind of thing.
"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Well, someone had to say it!

There was a fire in Slough yesterday (not a big enough one unfortunately). Aparently there is a crack house next door to a chippie which burst into flames while they were 'brewing up' & also set the chippie on fire.
I couldn't ask for better friends. I could ask for more NORMAL friends, but not better ones.
