Why tonight
« on: February 15, 2012, 11:18:19 PM »
364 days a year, I come home, eat tea (none of that "dinner" thing here), mug of tea, then settle in for the evening.

Tonight I have a burning desire for something extra, a Cheshire cheese and beetroot sarnie, or a nutrageous bar, just something as a top-up. But as I have a fasting blood test at 0910hr's tomorrow, I'm not allowed anything tonight  Banghead

Two bloody pricks!  There wasn't enough in me right arm, so she had to take some from me left arm. Should I worry  scared2:

And those plasters hurt when you take them off  sad24:

My record was achieved in A&E at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage.
I was taken in by ambulance (full blues and twos) at about 2am with a suspected (and as it turned out genuine) heart attack.
Staff nurse was instructed to take a blood sample. 16 fvcking attempts, both arms & backs of both hands. Finally the Doctor elbowed her out of the way and took the sample from a vein in my foot .... Now that really hurts!
